A CAMPAIGNER who locked himself inside a shipping container in Euston to raise awareness of conditions suffered by victims of human trafficking emerged into the sunlight on Monday.
Paul Knight spent a fortnight shut off from the outside world, living on cereal and water.
The 27-year-old had some drums and a journal to write down his thoughts, but nothing else.

The first thing he did on leaving the container was to hug his wife before grabbing a beer and a sandwich.
He said: “I can never say I have been through the same as a trafficked person. I had an emergency code if I needed to pull it. In the real word, they don’t have that choice.”
Passers-by wrote messages of support on the container while Mr Knight was locked inside. Andrea Dimitracopoulos, 26, from Camden, said:
“I hope he gets the attention needed to let people know about this problem.”

The Everyday Project, which highlights human trafficking, was organised by the Helen Bamber Foundation.
