COACHES from Camden Gymnastics Club were proudly beaming from ear-to-ear after a top-team of 19 girls from the gym all aced their first competitive test of the season.
Countless hours spent at the Talacre Community Sports Centre in Kentish Town paid off as the super squad passed their individual gymnastics exams at Heathrow Gym Club with flying colours.
The girls showed excellent conditioning, flexibility and strength as they impressed judges on the beam, bars, floor and vault in the highly-pressured four-piece competition.
Head coach Karen Waldron said: “I’m extremely proud of all the girls, credit goes to both them and their coaches who have helped prepare them for the start of what we hope will be a tremendous season.”
