PLAYERS from Coram’s Fields FC are the proud winners of a debut football competition aimed at dispelling the myth that young people from different postcodes cannot get along.

Led by man-of-the-match Tommy Yates, the triumphant team beat rivals Coram’s Fields United 1-0 in the final to capture the Youth Opportunity Cup.

The under-16s league and cup competition was funded by Camden Council’s Youth Opportunity Fund, which gives youngsters from across the borough the chance to gain funding for special projects within their community.

The tournament, which was held at Coram’s Fields in Russell Square, proved a huge success with over 150 footballers from eight different youth organisations taking part in the action.
