Extra-time hat-trick for Kim Little
FA Cup Fourth Round
Arsenal Ladies 4, Sunderland 1
KIM Little hit an extra-time hat-trick to give Arsenal Ladies a 4-1 win against Sunderland in their weather-delayed FA Cup fourth round tie.
In a repeat of last season’s final, Katie Chapman headed the Gunners in front shortly after the hour after a Helen Lander shot had rebounded off the bar.
The Black Cats equalised in stoppage time when defender Ciara Grant scored an own-goal.
Little proved to be Arsenal’s trump card, however, as she scored three goals in 16 minutes to take her tally to 30 so far this season. The midfielder scrambled home her first in the 98th minute and then fired her second into the roof of the net 60 seconds later. Six minutes from the end of extra-time she completed her hat-trick.
