TEENAGERS are being invited to try out a new tag rugby initiative at Coram’s Fields.
Players aged 16 to 19 can take part in the free session on Monday, which is aimed at promoting tag rugby in a fun and friendly environment. It’s also hoped that it will increase the number of young people taking part in the sport.
Coram’s Fields are running the scheme in Partnership with London Youth, Rugby Football Union (RFU) and Tag Rugby, while links with Hampstead Rugby Club have also been made to give players the chance to play at a higher level.
Youngsters will also have the chance to gain qualifications as well as having an opportunity to gain a Level One Certificate in coach rugby. The action takes place between 5.30-7pm.
