TEACHERS from Parliament Hill School will have to spend some of their half-term holidays making more room in their trophy cabinet after snapping up yet another football trophy.

We reported last week how their triumphant Year 9 side won the Camden School Sports Federation Secondary Schools League. Less than a week on, and a five-a-side team from the Highgate Road-based school have been victorious again, this time winning the KS4 Federation Football Championships at the Cantelowes Sports Pitch.

Parliament Hill beat rival teams from Camden School for Girls, Haverstock, South Camden Community School and La Sainte Union on their way to being crowned champions.

Captain Paige Blackender is more familiar with playing 11-a-side with class-mate Hannah McWilliams, a formidable partnership in Tottenham Hotspurs under-15s side.

Afterwards she said: “The play is different in five-a-side but the standard is just as high.”
