Ethan scores hat-trick for Belsize boys

HOTSHOTS Dion Sfarca and Cameron Hannah were among the goal-scorers in the Camden and Islington Youth League this week. They helped The Heath seal a 2-0 win over Primrose Hill in the friendly Under-8s Division at Market Road. 

Belsize Youth kicked off their campaign in the Under-9s ‘A’ Division with a 3-1 win over St Pancras. Star player Ethan Kaye proved the difference between the two teams with a scintillating hat-trick. 

Primrose Hill came from a goal down to draw 1-1 against FDS. Matthew Knight scored the equaliser for Primrose, who had goalkeeper Charlie Reeves to thank for their point. 

The points were also shared between Angel Islington and Islington Admiral. Archie Gadsdon gave Angel the lead with a sublime strike, but with just minutes left Admiral levelled to earn a 1-1 draw.

Admiral beat Lyndhurst 4-1 in the Under-12s ‘B’ Division. Josh Lord bagged a brace, while Wilfie White and Jack Price also found the back of the net. 

Isledon Wolves came from two goals down to maintain their unbeaten start in the Under-13s ‘B’ Division. Strikes from Tommy Smith, Jourdi Massueme and Alfie Costello helped Wolves seal a pulsating 3-2 win over Belsize Youth. 

Locomotive Youth beat rivals AFC Soccer School 8-0 in the Under-14s ‘A’ Division. Shane Cojocarel and Mason Brooks scored two goals each, while Alex Tegene, George Yianni, Charles Prince and Reuben Hinkson were also all on target. 

In the Under-10s ‘B’ Division of the Regent’s Park Youth League goals from Danny Blyth and Daniel Atege helped West End FC extend their unbeaten run to six games with a 2-0 win over Hampstead.
