JUNIOR Gunner Peter Brindle was beaming with pride when he was given the chance to lead out his heroes against Wolves recently.
Being a member of Arsenal’s junior supporter’s club the lucky eight-year-old, who lives in Highbury, was chosen at random to be their mascot for the Premier League fixture at Molineux, which the Gunners won 2-0.
Having bagged players’ autographs and a new Arsenal kit, delighted Peter said: “I can’t believe I was chosen to be mascot. Meeting all the players was brilliant, especially Marouane Chamakh, as I got to have my picture taken with him and he scored twice!”
Two-goal hero Chamakh, pictured with Peter, said: “It was great to meet Peter before the match with Wolves. We all hope that he had a great night, and enjoyed our win!”
