THE Heath were among the youngest winners in the Camden and Islington Youth League this week as they beat Brunswick in the friendly Under-8s Division.
Two clinical finishes from Dion Sfarca and a strike from Cameron Hannah led the newly formed side to a 3-1 win at Market Road.
In the Under-10s ‘A’ Division St Pancras and ‘A’ Class shared the spoils in a thrilling 1-1 draw. Bailey Johnston gave the Saints the lead, showing tremendous control before turning and smashing the ball into the top corner. Shot-stopper Jamie Sanches made some good saves to keep St Pancras in front, but ‘A’ Class continued to push forward and eventually scored a deserved equaliser.
In the Under-11s ‘A’ Division Isledon Wolves moved off the foot of the table with a superb 2-0 win over Futebol de Salao. Teddy Baldock gave Wolves the lead with a fiercely struck free-kick, before Jerry Gyebi made the points safe with a goal against his former club.
In the Under-12s ‘B’ Division, Islington Admiral Youth secured a convincing 4-1 win over Primrose Hill. Alfie Dundon bagged a brace, while Jack Price and Javain St Marie were also on target.
In the Under-13s ‘B’ Division, Wolves came from a goal down to beat Admiral 2-1 thanks to strikes from Tommy Smith and Alfie Costello. Wolves wrapped up a great weekend by beating Admiral 3-2 in the Under-14s ‘B’ Division. EJ Gyebi scored twice for Wolves, either side of a strike from Durim Sslamniku.
