TITLE rivals Soccerscool and Chapel Boys will go head-to-head in a scintillating six-pointer on Friday in the Under-10s ‘B’ Division of the Camden and Islington Youth League.

The teams are joint top having both won their opening three games at Market Road. In their previous outing Soccerscool showed their title credentials as they came from two goals down to beat Futebol de Salao.

The free-scoring side boasted five different goal-getters as strikes from Noah Britten, Max Preston, Freddie Hockey, Jamie Francois and Finlay MacNab sealed a stunning 5-2 victory.

Supporters will be hoping the game has a few more goals in it than Friday’s top of the table clash between Isledon Wolves and ‘A’ Class in the Under-10s ‘A’ Division.

The two sides battled out a goalless draw as their defences came out on top, with Thierry Okwara collecting the man-of-the-match award for Wolves.

In the Under-9s South Division St Pancras are joint top after beating Wolves 5-1 on Friday. Ardi Canolli got the Saints off to a flyer with two early goals, before Sol Staggs scored a third to put the result beyond any doubt.

Diogo Freitas-Gouveia added a fourth with a stunning free-kick, before Lewis Christie pulled a goal back for Wolves. Charlie Clarke had the final say for St Pancras when he scored a fifth late on.

In the Under-12s ‘B’ Division Islington Admiral beat Recreativo Juniors 2-1 thanks to goals from striker Josh Lord and captain Wilfie White.

In the Under-14s ‘B’ Division league leaders Isledon Wolves were held to a goalless draw against St Pancras. Goalkeeper Collins Katsigazi was in outstanding form for Wolves as he helped keep the Saints at bay. It was no mean feat considering St Pancras went into the game off the back of a 4-0 victory against FDS.

Jack Smith was voted man-of-the-match against FDS after playing a part in three of the four goals, which were scored by Ryan Salter, Levi Bojang, Jordan Wilcox and Enselmo Co.

Camden and Regent’s Park League West End FC scored a late equaliser to earn a 2-2 draw against Queen’s Park Sharks. Max Fawden netted West End’s opening goal, while captain Daniel Atege struck in the final minute of the match to earn a point.
