‘A’ Class move to the top

HOTSHOTS Kyron Samuels and Janel Small fired ‘A’ Class to the top of the table in the Under-9s North Division of the Camden and Islington Youth League on Friday.
Tho duo entertained the crowds at the artificial pitches at Market Road in Islington as they scored two goals each against The Heath.
Zak Lahroum was also on target as ‘A’ Class ran out 5-0 winners.
Another sharp-shooter finding his form is Chapel’s Jace Osinaike, who scored both goals in a 2-0 win over Regent’s Park in the Under-10s ‘B’ Division.
Chapel Boys have also won two games out of two in the Under-11s ‘B’ Division after a strike from Joshua Bell secured a 1-0 win over Lyndhurst.
In the Under-11s ‘A’ Division super-sub Aaron Bradley-Shankar came off the bench to help earn Isledon Wolves their first win of the season with a 1-0 victory over Regent’s Park.
Wolves also maintained their unbeaten start in the Under-12s
‘A’ Division with a narrow 1-0 win over Inter Markfield. Mark Ikua scored the only goal of the game, while Isledon goalkeeper Brandon Walsh made a string of fine saves to ensure all three points.
In the Under-13s ‘A’ Division Lyndhurst moved top of the table with a resounding 5-0 win over Finsbury Park. Brody Walters opened the scoring to give Lyndhurst a slender lead going into the break.
Lyndhurst came out firing on all cylinders in the second-half with Basil Benioton bagging a brace and Nathan Wanzola and Reece Crean-White scoring a goal each.
In the Under-14s ‘B’ Division EJ Gyebi struck a superb hat-trick as Isledon Wolves beat Jubba Youth. Ben Protheroe and Durim Sslamniku completed the scoring as Wolves netted a 5-2 win.
In the Camden and Regent’s Park League Pro Touch Community were among the goals in their game against Torriano United. Tiago Santos and Yousuf Hoque both scored twice, while Yousuf’s older brother Muhaymin also found the back of the net for the talented under-8s side. Tyler Fortunato completed the scoring in a 6-1 victory.
As a reward the Pro Touch Community boys have been invited to play a friendly against Brentford on Saturday at the League One club’s training ground.
