MIDFIELDER Lucas Terceiro scored twice on Saturday as the Year 6 Camden District team came from a goal down to beat rivals Hackney in a friendly at the Douglas Eyre Sports Centre.

Hackney put on the early pressure and deserved their opening goal, but Camden battled back to seal an impressive 4-1 victory.

Theo Noble, who goes to Hereward House School in Hampstead, showed tremendous composure to pick out St Aloysius schoolboy Guynel Henriet, who equalised from close range.

Lucas, who goes to St Dominic’s School in Gospel Oak, completed the comeback with two well-taken goals, along with a tremendous strike from Joe Edwards Esposito.

Camden Sports Development Officer and team manager Will Cave said: “The boys showed a lot of belief and character in themselves and the team to come from a goal down to win. Callum Smith and Archie Harker were outstanding in the heart of our defence and were deservedly named our joint players-of-the-match.”
