Tesco's delivery lorries blocking the road - and pavement - are a problem, exacerbated by the ongoing roadworks as well as cars parked on both sides of the road.

Perhaps - and it is just a fleeting thought - making WEL one-way might alleviate the problem, at least during the ongoing works.
