BEAMING boys from Camden Gymnastics Club proudly took their place on the podium after clinching a bronze medal in the London Youth Games.
The team of nine- to 17-year-olds showed just how practice can pay-off as they competed in all six disciplines, including the pommel horse, the vault and the parallel bars.
Displaying tremendous skill, Oliver Hillier gained most points for Camden to finish seventh, closely followed by Dominic Sesto who took ninth place.
Hugo Bennetts was 17th, while Theo Gale finished in 21st spot after only competing on four pieces of apparatus.
Luke Apata completed the team effort by finishing 28th after taking part in just two disciplines.
The result follows on after the boys, who train at the Talacre Sports Centre in Kentish Town, excelled at the National Development Plan finals in Birmingham.
Competing for London, Dominic, Theo and Hugo joined forced to win gold in their under-12s age group.
Luke and R-Marni Aguilar both performed well to help their under-10s team finish fourth, while Issa Francois and Kemmi Omoshebi were in the under-11s team that finished seventh.
Head coach Alex Pakrah, who trains the team alongside Steve Russo and Ivan Pastore, said: “We are all over the moon after another great year of competitions.”
