CRICKETING kids from two Camden primary schools were over the moon on Friday when they batted their way to glory at Regent’s Park.
Boys and girls from New End School in Hampstead and Rosary School in Haverstock Hill stumped their opponents to win their respective ‘A’ and ‘B’ team competitions in the Cricket Championships.
Organised by the Camden Schools Sports Association, the five-over competition proved a huge success with 18 teams from 12 different schools taking part in the action.
The result continues an impressive run of form for Rosary, who became the first team in more than a decade last week to topple Gospel Oak in the primary schools athletics championships.
