Submitted by Anonymous on Fri, 2010-08-27 19:28.How did it acquire the name ? My relative Robert John William Coan ran an Aluminium foundry in Duncan Street and other Islington venues in the early 1900's.
Is your site ( now to be developed) on the site of the old Coan's Aluminium Foundry ?
