Gold style – Camden Gymnastics Club go ‘from strength to strength’ in Regional Novice Championships

GIRLS from Camden Gymnastics Club brought an end to their summer competitions in style when they scooped three gold medals at the Regional Novice Championships.
Held at Heathrow Gymnastics Club, Nadia Muccio, Estelle Alexandre and Noemi Seminara all topped the podium in at least one of their disciplines. Club-mates Lauren Page, Aisha Goodman, Sasha Abrahams, Angelica Herrera, Eliza Benedict, Tomique Gibson, Julia Kerrigan, Wren Stewart, Shania Sergeant, Luna Williamson and Helena Roberts also all won a selection of ribbons and certificates.
Head coach at Camden Gym Club Karen Waldron, who trains with the girls at the Talacre Sports Centre in Kentish Town, was delighted with how the team is progressing.
She said: “The girls are going from strength to strength and are obviously starting to enjoy the competition environment. They are all fired up and have new goals to work towards, for the autumn championships in October.”
