Brian Haw is indeed standing up for what some of us believe about the war in Iraq. I was on the march against that illegal war and therefore thank him for his vigil and for bringing the issue and other matters(Pol Pot's genocide in Cambodia, use of depleted uranium etc) to a wider audience. I also believe he has been effective. Note the numbers viewing his utube vids and visits from Alex Jones and Cindy Sheehan. If his campaign did not salt the government's wounds, he would not be subject to harassment and of late to the antics of Ms Maria Carmen Gallastegui most probably undercover agent. Brian seems to know quite a lot about some very touchy subjects and probably more than he says. I am appalled at the pettiness of the new government which seems embarassed by Mr Haw. Why not accept that he represents the unique spirit of this country. Sometimes eccentric but always ready to stand up for what is right.
