Local football - Primrose Hill FC to take on Hatfield for the Champions Shield

PLAYERS from Primrose Hill FC (above) will be looking to complete a memorable double on Saturday when they take on Hatfield Lions in the final of the Champions Shield.
The side, which is sponsored by the NW1 Bar in Parkway, have already lifted silverware this season after being crowned champions in the Premier Division of the West End League.
Going into the final game of the season, Primrose Hill were level on points with Racing Chiswick, although their title rivals boasted a superior goal difference of plus four.
Needing to go for goals, Primrose Hill beat Panthers
10-2 for a spectacular victory. The goals proved to be just for show, however, as Racing Chiswick ended up losing 3-2 to Angel to hand an ecstatic Primrose Hill team the title.
