• ARSENAL got their revenge over Everton on Sunday by beating them 4-2 to clinch a seventh successive Women’s Premier League title.
The Gunners went into the game with extra incentive after losing to the Toffees in the League Cup and the final of the FA Cup.
After drawing 1-1 away at Blackburn on Thursday Laura Harvey’s side knew they only needed a point to be crowned champions.
Former Hampstead schoolgirl Rachel Yankey (pictured above) broke the deadlock in the 31st minute before supplying the cross that allowed Gemma Davison to double the lead.

A frantic 10 minute spell saw Everton battle back to level the scores in the second-half. First captain Fara Williams smashed home a 52nd-minute free-kick and then striker Natasha Dowie equalised with a crisp shot from just inside the area.
The Gunners refused to give up and edged back in front when Davison powered home her second goal of the game 12 minutes from time.
The result was put beyond doubt two minutes later when striker Julie Fleeting scored with a deflected effort.
