Escheat is the root word

The Crown Estate simply has too much power as a Landlord over so much of British land. It has been permitted to grow and is part of the cause of growing social inequality. It's also a concern because their corporate "core values" of "Integrity", Environmental Stewardisim and Commercialism" just translate into solely Commercialism and Profits for the Board, Profits for the Board, Profits for the Board.
It's time the public became more aware of land ownership and registry issues and it's time the government intervened and the Crown Estate Act 1961 was reviewed.
