KENTISH Town FC dropped to the bottom of the table in the Premier Division of the Spartan South Midlands League this week after suffering back-to-back defeats.
The Townies’ miserable run, of just three wins in 23 league games so far, continued on Saturday when they lost 2-0 at home against Hillingdon Borough.
The result followed on from Wednesday’s disappointing 2-1 home defeat against Hatfield Town.
After Saturday’s defeat manager Rak Hudson said: “In the last three games we have played well. I am extremely proud of the lads who have performed brilliantly and worked their socks off for the badge despite the setbacks. We need to keep this level of performance up and not let disappointments knock our confidence.
“If we can we’ll start to pick up points, no doubt about it at all.”
