I’M going to share four words with my fellow Arsenal fans that will not only save our season but will also help protect the long-term future of the club.
In Arsene We Trust Don’t just repeat these words, live by them!
In Wenger we have a manager who has transformed the club, making it stable and successful both on and off the pitch.
It’s true that we have had to wait too long for a trophy, but is silverware really the only measure of success?
Despite our strict salary and buying policy we have continued to reach the Champions League, playing a widely-envied brand of fluent, creative, entertaining football in the process.
We have also managed to invest in a huge new stadium – something the likes of Tottenham, Liverpool and Everton can only dream of doing.
Wenger makes stars and sells them for a huge profit instead of spending hundreds of millions of pounds buying the kind of success that will never balance the bank books.
Having a manager with morals and ethics is something about which all Gunners fans can be proud. It’s not something to be jeered, but cheered!
