We remember Mr Wagland as we knew him,or sir,for he was one of our teachers in our junior school named Oldfield road,in NW10 London,he was one of our favourite teachers,and that goes a long way to remember a teacher of more than 50yrs ago,both me and my wife went to Oldfield,one of the storys I remember he told was he had gone to see Cliff Richard and while performing, his microphone broke down,mr Wagland said if he could sing you would of been able to hear him without the mic at the back of the theatre,and he was sitting near the front,he has not got a voice was sirs words,funny how things stick in your mind.our thoughts are with his family and friends.
