Crime is Crime

As someone who left my Apartment to view the trouble on Camden High street, I have to say how saddened i was by the whole experience, however from witnessing the scene 1st hand I really can confirm the following:

1. There were people parking their cars on the nearby roads, to ensure they could get away quickly. nice cars I might add.

2.A lot of the trouble makers were on smartphones, something I have only just aquired being fully employed.

3. Most of the crime was orchestrated at getting into high value shops rather than aggravating the police.

My point is this, this really is not about the lack of what the youth is getting, its about the youth being given everything too early. I also have a 13 year old daughter who was not out on the street.
Again the solution should be to punish the parents who let their 13 year kids out at past midnight on a Monday night.
I believe in a stick and carrot approach, but believe me now is the time for the stick and not the carrot and its really hard for me to feel sorry for people who are clearly looting shops that other people need for their livliehoods!
