Submitted by Anonymous on Tue, 2011-07-12 20:48.Just because a handful of SNT sergeants will be lost, those officers will be redeployed elsewhere. It does not mean less frontline officers, they will still be working, just in various other positions.
The teams are not getting amalgamated, just one very capable person will be running 2 teams while the spare can then be put to use elsewhere. I don't know why people are so upset, it could have been a lot worse.
