Talented young footballers from Isledon Wolves are celebrating a double triumph this week after winning two championships in the Camden and Islington Youth League at Market Road
THEIR unbeaten under-10s side won the Division ‘A’ crown on Friday with a well-deserved win over Recreativo Juniors. Needing just a point, goals from Nicky Marshalls, Nathan Carlyle and Dylan Brown saw Isledon take the title in style with a commanding 3-1 win.
Not to be outdone, hungry Wolves’ under-13s squad also remain unbeaten on their way to clinching the league title. The free-scoring side were crowned champions on Tuesday following a 4-0 win over Admiral Youth. Top scorer Alfie Costello bagged a brace, while Lemar Kelly and Felix Romer were also both on target.
Costello also scored twice on Friday in a thrilling win over Pro Touch Community, taking his personal tally to 55 goals in all competitions this season. Strikes from Xhmejal Peci and Romer wrapped up a 4-0 victory.
