The Isledon Wolves Under-14s team who are aiming to complete a league and cup double
Wolves chasing the double

Isledon go for more silverware as youth football season reaches exciting climax

SCORES of talented young footballers competed for silverware at the weekend when they flocked to Market Road for the semi-finals of the Challenge Cup in the Camden and Islington Youth League.
Sharp-shooter Aiden O’Brien scored the only goal of the game as Isledon Wolves edged past Brunswick in the Under-14s competition. Having finished as runners-up behind Isledon in the title chase, Brunswick would have loved nothing more than to gain revenge over their rivals by knocking them out of the cup.
But Wolves managed to claw out the narrow 1-0 victory thanks to some heroic defending from Hakeem Jacobs, Dylan Stokes and goalkeeper Tommy Maggs.
Isledon will have their work cut out if they are to complete a league and cup double as they prepare to take on a high-flying Hampstead side in the final.
Hampstead striker CJ Burke showed a lethal array of finishing as he scored six goals against Harbour on Friday.
Elliott Powell added a hat-trick, while Josh Lee, Seb Sindvik and Milton Karamani were also all on target as Hampstead ran out 12-0 winners to book their place in the final for the second year running.
Chapel Boys will go head-to-head against Islington Tufnell Youth in the Under-13s final after they overcame Brunswick 5-2. Tufnell booked their place in the grand finale with a comfortable 3-0 win over N4 United.
A single strike from Jason Kayila was enough to earn Somers Town a place in the final of the Under-12s Challenge Cup.
They will now face the league champions, Islington Admiral Youth, who progressed after beating FDS 2-0.
Goals from George Yianni, Alex Tegene, Hendrick Bungisa and Henry Hanifan saw St Pancras continue their march towards the double in the Under-11s tournament with a convincing 4-0 win over Soccerscool.
Saints will take on Lyndhurst in the final after they overcame Angel Islington.
And St Pancras completed a magnificent run of results on Monday when they beat Hampstead 4-2 to clinch the Under-11s Division ‘A’ title.
Needing just a point from the game, the Saints got off to the perfect start when Yianni fired them in front within a minute of the kick-off.
Hampstead hit back to level the scores, but the player-of-the-match Yianni guided his team to glory as he went on to complete a stunning hat-trick.
Alex Tegene was also on target for St Pancras with his second goal in as many games.
The Under-10s cup final will see Lyndhurst take on FDS after the two sides won their respective semi-final showdowns 1-0.
As the season draws to a close, Crown and Manor will face Westway in the Under-9s Alan Michael Browne Challenge Cup final.
