Sandman

I’D never heard of Sandman before this landed on my desk but I expect to be hearing a lot more from him soon.
The north London MC’s been moving in the right circles, having worked with dub pioneer Adrian Sherwood, Ghetto Priest, Skinnyman, touring with Asian Dub Foundation and supporting Reverend and The Makers. His debut album is packed with hip-hop collaborations, smart samples and some ragga touches. First track The Queen’s Head begins with a sample from claustrophobic 60s TV series The Prisoner – nice touch.
