WHILE some photographers content themselves with Tower Bridge by night, Nicki Grihault favours monasteries in Bhutan and the wilds of Siberia.
Grihault, an award-winning travel writer and photographer from Belsize Park, has travelled extensively in far-flung regions of the world: with Bedouin in the Sinai and native tribes in the Ecuadorian Amazon. Rwanda, Namibia, Puerto Rico, Dominica, Botswana and Syria – Grihault has explored and documented them all.
Edge of the Map, an exhibition of her unusual and adventurous pictures is at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital’s art gallery at 369 Fulham Road, SW10, until June 26. Entry is free. SIMON WROE
