The Review - AT THE MOVIES with DAN CARRIER Published: 26 March 2009

THERE’S nothing I like more than a trip to the Little Angel Theatre in Islington. It’s a super venue offering the very best in puppetry. So I was double pleased to see this week they are hosting The Paper Cinema – a live cinematic experience. It works very cleverly using screens, live video animation and some rather delightful puppets.
It tells the tale of King Pest, an adaptation of a yarn by gothic master storyteller Edgar Allen Poe. It’s the story of two sailors on leave in London during the reign of Edward III.
Night Flyer is also on the bill, the story of a boy travelling through the night to find the lost girl of his dreams.
The show runs from tonight (Thursday) through to Sunday at 7.30pm and 9pm. Tickets are £8 and £6.
