HOCKEY - TOO FAKE

IT’S a song for the ITV2 generation. A must-have for the life soundtrack of the Gossip Girl/Paris Hilton’s British Best Friend/American Idol crew.
The electro intro is a clever misdirection as Too Fake progresses into a poppy, rocky song, full of soul that puts you in a good mood.
Frontman Ben Grubin’s vocals – warning he’s just too fake for this world – touch on Rod Stewart hoarseness, while his casual throwaway comments are loaded with arrogant irony. A feel-good song for the post-Paris Hilton era. Out March 16.
