Burgh House
SARABAND, an exciting new venture exploring 17th and 18th-century music and performed by artists from the world’s foremost period and chamber music ensembles, will take the stage in the intimate setting of Burgh House for two intriguing concerts on February 4.
The first, at 5.30pm, is a family concert for ages six and up, featuring bite-sized tasters of music from the shows and dances of the 18th century. Then at 8pm there is a feast of baroque music by Purcell, Arne, Vivaldi, Matteis, Leclair, Corelli and Rameau as well as popular tunes of the day. For more information call 0207 435 7824.
