One more time for the Boys of the Empire

King's Head Theatre

OVERWHELMING demand for the King’s Head rollicking prep-school adventure Boys of the Empire has prompted the theatre to extend the show’s run for a further two weeks, until January 24.
Writer Glenn Chandler has taken a sabbatical from the dour, murky world of Taggart to pen this romp through public school and colonial exploitation. He hasn’t left his roots behind entirely, though: “murrrdah” is still on the menu. So hurry – there’s just nine more shows left to catch the chums of St Ethelred’s. Cripes!
