Spanish singer Lana - A trippy kind of love!
Record of the Week
LANA - Trippy Kind of Love
THIS sexy song is a soundtrack for the heady aftermath of a night of red wine and flirting.
Spanish senorita Lana’s sultry tones have an edge that put her alongside the likes of Sia, Moloko and Morcheeba in this irresistible, laid-back, trip-hop-style ballad. Lana has succeeded in crafting a seductive and atmospheric track without falling prey to romantic clichés.
Trippy Kind of Love is Lana’s second single and a departure from the fast-paced, cheeky Latin debut single Don’t Call Me Baby, released last October which was a BBC6 Music favourite.
• Lana plays the Red Stripe Music Awards tour at the Windmill in Brixton tomorrow (Friday) alongside Philadelphia Mainline, Atomic Suplex and Junkyard Choir. Trippy Kind of Love is out in March.
