The Review - THEATRE by FLORENCE and ELLIE (both aged 10)
Published: 25 December 2008

Cinderella at the Shaw Theatre
A Britt of the old ‘He’s behind you!’

CINDERELLA
Shaw Theatre

I THINK it’s safe to say that all our throats are hurting from shouting “He’s behind you!” and “Oh yes he is!”
But the best part of Cinderella was the music – it made everybody get up and dance. With the slow music, everyone swayed their arms.
Buttons (TV presenter Dominic Littlewood) was the best character because he was funny, cheerful and always cracking jokes. Also when he said something sad he always made the audience go “Awww”.
Holly, Ivy, the Baron and the Fairy Godmother (played by Britt Ekland) were great
too – we liked it when they opened the door and said: “I’ll let myself in.”
Cinderella and Prince Charming were the couple – and a happy couple they were too.
