Concert in aid of Mayor’s charity fund
PREVIEW: NORH LONDON PHILHARMONIA St Mark's Church
THE North London Philharmonia (NLP), lead by Robert Masarachi and featuring soloist Michael Cayton (piano), present a programme featuring works by Von Suppe, Schumann and Beethoven at St Mark’s Church, Regent’s Park, on Sunday at 7.30pm.
Cayton, a graduate of the Royal College of Music, will be known to audiences from his well-received performances at Wigmore Hall.
Founded in 1997 by Guildhall School graduate Ronald Hillel Rappoport – who was a professor at the London College of Music, where he also founded and conducted their Contemporary Music Society – the NLP hosts two charity events each season, and all proceeds from this performance will go to the Mayor of Camden’s Charity Fund Trust.
The suggested donation for Sunday’s performance is £10.
