FOR his exhibition Night Moves, opening at the Freud Museum, Hampstead next Thursday, artist Oliver Clegg has explored children’s toys, the mind of Anna Freud and the poetry of Heinrich Heine.
Clegg’s images evoke the childhood fantasies and daydreams that exist between the real and the imagined. The centre-piece is an extrordinary chess set replicating Freud’s famous desk and his favourite antiquities.
• Night Moves is at the Freud Museum, 20 Maresfield Gardens, NW3, from October 2 - November 23.
Wednesdays to Sundays 12 - 5pm
