Perfect fillet steak
Perfect fillet steak
Again choose steak carefully. Length of cooking time depends on how you like your meat.
Ingredients
Serves 2
One tbsp Olive oil;
2x100g beef fillet steaks
50g button mushrooms, or wild;
Splash red wine;
Salt and freshly ground black pepper.
Method
Heat the oil in a medium frying pan and then add the steaks.
Fry one minute each side and then add the mushrooms. Cook for a further three-five minutes.
Add the red wine and seasoning. Place the steak on a plate, reduce the juices slightly and then pour over the steak.
