PREVIEW: NORTH LONDON PHILHARMONIA St Mark’s Church
THE North London Philharmoia (NLP), lead by Robert Masarachi, present an all-Russian programme at St Mark’s Church on Sunday at 7.30pm. Prinicipal violin with the BBC Concert Orchestra, Peter Bussereau, will lead the NLP through a recital of Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake op 20, Symphony No 6 in B minor and Prokofiev’s Violin Concerto in D Major.
Founded in 1997 by Guildhall School graduate Ronald Hillel Rappoport – who was a professor at the London College of Music, where he also founded and conducted their Contemporary Music Society – the NLP hosts two charity events each season, and all proceeds from this performance will go to the Mayor of Camden’s Charity Fund Trust.
The suggested donation for Sunday’s performance is £10.
