PREVIEW - CONCERT FOR PALESTINE
Rosslyn Hill Chapel
THE Camden Abu Dis Friendship Association (CADFA) will host a concert for Palestine at Rosslyn Hill Chapel, in Hampstead, on Saturday (January 26).
Featuring the legendary John Williams on guitar, tenor Mark Pedmore and Roger Vignoles on piano, the ensemble will also be joined by musicians from Abu Dis in an eclectic crossover programme of classic and classical music from East and West.
All funds raised will go towards forwarding CADFA’s work promoting awareness of the human rights situation in Abu Dis.
The group already runs a number of successful schemes in the Palestinian town, including funding music lessons for children and health and education projects, with plans afoot to hire a full-time music teacher in Abu Dis.
• The CADFA Concert for Palestine is at Rosslyn Hill Chapel, Hampstead, on January 26 at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £15 and £20 and are available on 0845 458 1167. www.camdenabudis.net
