Help for the presents tense
PREVIEW: CHILDREN'S SHOWS The Red Hedgehog
IT'S the weekend before Christmas, you still have 47 presents to buy, the entire house to clean (before the in-laws come around to pass judgment), and if you don’t get a move on and nab that last turkey on sale down the road you’ll be forced to go hunting on the Heath and swear blind that the terrapin you’re stuffing is just a diminutively challenged festive fowl. Coupled with all this, the kids are bored and don’t want to tag along as you undertake your mammoth list of tasks.
So why not dispatch the wee ones (and your luckier other half) to the Red Hedgehog, in Highgate, to see storyteller and puppeteer Professor Mustard performing The Ugly Duckling (for cherubs aged 3-7) at 11am and Cinderella (ages 4-9) at 2pm on both Saturday 22 and Sunday 23? Lifesaver!
