GRAVE robbers, mummies, and evil Roman emperors flood the stage at the UCL Bloomsbury Theatre from October 1, as the hugely popular Horrible Histories books makes its West End debut. ‘Bogglevision’ effects allow children to experience what it was really like to be part of the great Roman army in Ruthless Romans while the Evil Eye of Horus keeps a close watch on the grisly goings-on in Awful Egyptians. Daytime and evening performances will run until October 13.
ACT Provocateur’s latest is a brooding portrayal of modern society, complete with ill-fated lovers and family feuds. Blood Wedding, written by Spanish playwright Federico Garcia Lorca, is a tale of love, lust and revenge, running until September 30 at the Lion and Unicorn Theatre.
THIS week it is the turn of competition entrants Christina Murray, Diane Brodkin, Claudia Ingall, Charles Burton and Mr TJ Blofeld to dance with joy. Each wins a pair of tickets to see Billy Elliot.
