Pick of the Indies
A TERRY Gilliam double bill graces the Curzon Soho this Sunday, with Monty Python’s Meaning Of Life playing back to back with Fear and Loathing In Las Vegas.
Terry Gilliam co-directed Life with other members of the Python team. However, the Crimson Pearl Assurance Company, the short film about insurance clerks turning into pirates and marauding through the high seas of high finance that kicks off the film, was all his own work.
Fear and Loathing features Johnny Depp bringing to life the drug addled ramblings of writer Hunter S Thompson.
