Celebrating Ginastera

THE year-long celebration of Argentine composer Alberto Ginastera continues this week with a concert at St James’s Church, Piccadilly.
Soprano Norma Lopez, one of the most successful sopranos in the world and originally from Uruguay, is singing at the church on Wednesday performing works by the Argentine composer and Joe Serebrier from Uruguay.
This concert features performances of Ginastera’s Two Songs, Five Argentine Popular Songs and Las Horas de una Estancia.
