HAMPSTEAD’S Burgh House is hosting a concert with a suitably relaxing programme on Sunday.
The music of George and his brother Ira Gershwin is some of the most accessible in the musical canon, posed between classical and jazz.
And at the house soprano Elaine Delmar will be performing some of his songs, alongside those of Cole Porter, with Brian Dee on piano and Simon Thorpe on bass.
Anyone wanting a couple of peaceful and relaxing hours listing to some classic tunes could do no better than attend this event.
