Harpsichords play at Handel House
PREVIEW - HARPSICHORD
Handel House
THE Handel House Museum, in Brook Street, Mayfair, consistently presents some of the most interesting and unusual early music.
And it has continued to do so during the summer.
This week it has teamed up with the fledging British Harpsichord Society to present a concert of keyboard works by the likes of Couperin and Frescobaldi.
The British Harpsichord Society’s aim to spread harpsichord music, provide a forum in which fellow musicians can meet and its website has a whole host of information available for lovers of the plucked string instrument.
Here, we have celebrated and experienced harpsichordist Jane Clark performing at the museum.
