FEW directors have the pedigree of Paul Schrader. The man who scripted modern classics such as Taxi Driver and The Mosquito Coast, co-wrote Raging Bull and directed American Gigolo, is back at the BFI Southbank on Monday with his latest film, The Walker. Woody Harrelson stars as a gay gadabout around Washington who’s forced to put his reputation on the line when he becomes involved in a murder case. Schrader will be in conversation following the screening which starts at 6.30pm.
THE Curzons Soho and Mayfair are hosting the ninth Rushes Soho Shorts festival from Sunday to Tuesday which aims to champion emerging talent.
