Great chance to get in tune with a scratch choir

FOR those who struggle to find time to join a choir like myself, with all the ensuing practices and performances, the Handel House Museum in Mayfair are hosting the event for you this weekend.
The museum is putting together a scratch choir to perform highlights of Handels marvellous oratorio Alexander’s Feast at the Grosvenor Chapel in South Audley Street, Mayfair on Sunday.
For those able to give up their day, practices are beginning from 10 in the morning but you had better register immediately as spaces are running out quickly. At the time of going to press there are spaces left for sopranos, tenors and basses – the alto section is already full.
Tickets for the day are £12 and include a glass of wine.
The performance begins at 6pm and is sure to be an immensely satisfying day.
