Outlawed: Extraordinary Rendition, Torture and Disappearances in the “War on Terror”, which receives its London premiere tomorrow (Friday) sheds light on this disturbing practice which has the complicity of the UK and several other foreign governments.

OVER at the Prince Charles on Tuesday, owner Ben Freedman is putting Mayor Ken Livingstone on the spot after a screening of eco-warrior Al Gore’s An Inconvenient Truth. As part of the Friends of the Earth’s Big Ask campaign, viewers will have a chance to quiz Ken about what he’s doing to tackle climate change. “I’ve been worried that the government isn’t doing enough about climate change,”
Freedman says. “Now I’ve got the chance to use my cinema to do something about it.”
